Signal-to-Noise

Signal-to-Noise

Signal-to-Noise, or Signal-to-Noise ratio, is the ratio of an audio (or video) signal in decibels, between the signal’s maximum peak and the peak still detectable when the signal is removed. Usually there is some ammount of noise present in audio electronics.
