Four Track

A device that uses a cassette Tape to record 4 tracks of audio intended to be played at once. It will usually use both stereo channels on each side of the tape . There are more advanced methods used by Eight-Tracks and up. Four Track can also refer to a recording made with a Four Track recorder.
