I write, record and produce my own music at home with a pretty crude recording setup.
I do this as a hobby.

Believe me when I tell you, I just blast em out without thinking much about
the ‘right’ way to do it.

End of last year, I decided to step it up a level and go with some professional mixing and mastering.
Given the highly questionable quality of the source tracks, I was not expecting a whole lot in the final product.

BTW – for all you professionals out there, you would cringe at my methods.

Lorenz exceeded my expectations by far.
He created a great sound that I didn’t expect but absolutely love.
A warm, punchy sound without squashing it.
(Squashing is a lil too fruity for my taste)

He has also provided invaluable advice on improving the quality of the source tracks moving forward,
and I now look forward to my producing my next CD.

Lorenz is a great man to work with.

XARC is the place for all of my future mastering.

Great job Lorenz!
