i already sent a mail to Lorenz, but i thought it would be good to make a topic for it..
what it is, is that i need to send the whole mixdown in wave format.. but do i need to let the track be free of tools and plugins that i put over the master (i mostly use a psp vintage warmer, a classic compressor and a loudness maximizer for the master.. and all kinds of effects for each channel i want an effect in, from which i think they can't be removed )
i think that was the main question i want a simple answer to haha
tnx already and for some people that are digging that experimental jazzy kind of hiphop thing, peep http://www.soundclick.com/bands/5/annoxmusic.htm |

Hi The Nox,
Thanks for posting, I´ve already answered your email some minutes ago
Just have a read through our FAQ section at http://www.xarcmastering.com/faq/ it answers all your questions:
Q: Should I apply any effects before sending my songs?
A: When sending us your songs please turn off any dithering, don't apply any additional effects after mixdown (track effects are OK, just make sure nothing has been applied to the mixdown) and verify that no clipping occurs. In this way we will be able to achieve the highest level of quality from the mastering process for your tracks.
Hope that helps.
Best Regards,
Lorenz
P.S.: Nice music you´ve done there! |

Then everything should be fine, just that you should not put the mix through a compressor or any other effects. Just export it with nothing on the masterbuss and make sure it doesn´t clip.
Best Regards,
